Instructor Phil Ranta has been doing improv for nearly a decade all over the world. For the past year he has been performing and teaching improv and sketch comedy with The Second City aboard their Norweigan Cruise Lines contracts in Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. He was also part of the improv team “McShane” that won the Harold competition in the 2009 Los Angeles Improv Festival. He performs every Saturday night at 9:00 pm with his improv group Bro Squad 5 (brosquad5.com) at Second City Hollywood, writes and segment produces for the award-winning weekly sketch comedy show Top Story! Weekly (topstoryweekly.com) at the iO West Theater, and acts as CEO and Executive Producer of the Comedy Podcast Network (comedypodcastnetwork.com). He is neither an American Ninja, nor a Warrior.
